Phoenix, AZ is teeming with up-and-coming real estate hotspots.  I make it my hobby to find them. This week's find is zip code 85017.  This area seems to be realizing accelerated price increases.  According to the statistics below this area is experiencing a 19.2% increase in list price over the prior year.  This area looks to be pegged for a new hotspot and has plenty of room for price increases. It makes sense being just blocks away from Grand Canyon University and within a few miles from Downtown Phoenix.  GCU has made it a priority to revitalize the area and people are starting to notice.  See more about GCU's five point plan to revitalize the surrounding community here http://news.gcu.edu/2014/12/embracing-community-gcus-plan-renew-neighborhood/
